PrivateEquityInfo announces a new feature to accelerate your research.

Investment bankers use our M&A Research Database to quickly find targeted, potential acquirers who will likely have a keen interest in their client’s company.

Once you identify the best private equity firms for your deal, it’s equally important to connect with the right person at each firm. Otherwise, you might get the wrong answer, or sometimes, no answer.

Our new feature, Exact Executive, does the work for you by identifying the private equity executive who holds the board seat for the portfolio company you are interested in.

With this new feature, the Exact Executive is flagged visually on screen (shown below) and is also included in your download files.

Exact Executive saves you a lot of research time and ensures you connect with the right person at the right firm to close your deal.

Saving Searches & Creating Alerts

Save your searches on to stay abreast of changes in the marketplace and to find new entrants into sectors you are tracking. This is especially useful if you are just starting the marketing phase of your deal. Watch the quick video below to see how this works.


Any new results added to the database that match your search filter will be flagged for you. If you turn on the Alerts feature, we’ll send you an email notification (on Friday) to alert you of new search results. If there’s nothing new, no email is sent.

Creating Alerts

If you haven’t yet set up Alerts on our platform, you might find this to be a great tool to stay up-to-date on the most recent, relevant changes within your target industries. Alerts notify you any time a change is made to our database that matches your search criteria. For example, Alerts might include:

  • Alert me of portfolio companies that contain the word “logistics”.
  • Alert me of any new PE firms in Texas.
  • Alert me of new investment banks with an industry focus on “oil and gas”.

Save Searches – easily recall favorite filtered searches with new results highlighted.

Create Alerts – receive weekly email notifications when new investments, firms or executives match your saved searches.

The research process just got easier. Target the right executives and quickly build a downloadable list.

One of the great things about this feature is that within the list, we also capture the search filters that you performed to arrive at a particular person. This gives you a nice reminder of exactly why you saved a person to a particular list.
